With prior written approval from management, Rancho Las Palmas Apartments in Tempe, AZ welcomes pets.  We do require that all residents with pets  ensure that the pet(s) are well behaved at all times and that the pet(s) do not disturb any other resident or cause damage to the apartment or common areas.

Pets are not allowed to leave the apartment or walk in the common areas of the property without a leash and are to be walked or excercised in designated areas.  The pet(s) are required to be licensed in accordance with all applicable government provisions.

The pet(s) weight must not exceed 40 pounds when full grown.  The height at the shoulders is not to exceed 24 inches when full grown.

We do maintain certain breed restrictions.  No dangerous breeds are permitted.  Management's judgment whether a pet is a dangerous breed shall be final and conclusive.  Dangerous breeds include but are not limited to Chows, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pincers and Wolf Hybrids.  Any mixed breed dog which in Management's sole judgment includes one of these bloodlines or a bloodline of another breed Management considers dangerous shall constitute a dangerous breed.  No such animal may be kept in the community.
